Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver trauma-informed counseling services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, using tailored therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients seeking mental health support from a Christian perspective, including those experiencing trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. You will work with diverse populations, accommodating varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. This role is crucial in guiding clients toward emotional and spiritual healing, making a direct impact on their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, or within 200 hours of completing residency.

• Strong understanding of Biblical principles and counseling techniques.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively.

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a commitment to client confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience in trauma counseling, demonstrating proficiency in relevant therapeutic modalities.

• Desire to pursue dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland.
\n
• Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or the willingness to complete EMDR basic training within three months of hire.

• A record of community involvement and networking to build referral sources.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a flexible work schedule that allows you to choose your hours Monday through Friday, we provide:
