Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into each patient's unique trauma history and guide treatment decisions.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions using established methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.

• Work cohesively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and quality outcomes for all clients.

• Provide on-the-spot crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support for clients in need.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma-related responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation aligned with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve supporting individuals dealing with complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.
