Work Environment\n

This is a full-time, remote position, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to vital mental health counseling services in the school setting. Our typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet client needs. Being adaptable in your schedule is essential, as you will need to accommodate client visits and maintain continuous care. The role may also require on-call availability to address urgent situations outside of standard hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, incorporating emotional, mental, and social factors unique to each individual.

• Collaborate closely with students and their families to create personalized care plans that align with their specific goals and preferences, while considering any cultural or linguistic factors.

• Provide counseling and emotional support to youth and their families, effectively guiding them through life's challenges and transitions while enhancing their coping strategies.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure their access to essential community resources and support services, thereby removing barriers to care.

• Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams—including teachers, school nurses, and mental health professionals—to coordinate care and improve student outcomes.

• Regularly visit clients to evaluate their well-being, monitor progress, and address any living conditions or safety concerns, adapting care plans as needed for optimal outcomes.

• Facilitate constructive communication among family members involved in the care process, resolving conflicts to foster a stronger support network.

• Educate students and families about available community resources, support groups, and programs that enhance social engagement and improve quality of life.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, assessments, progress notes, and care plans within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Continuously update knowledge of best practices in social work, mental health trends, and policy changes to deliver high-quality care.

The primary focus of this position is on youth, particularly those facing mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
