Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to accurately document clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health issues.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans that are effective for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting to the changing needs of clients as therapy progresses.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that foster healing, develop coping strategies, and promote personal growth.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress along the established treatment plan, adjusting as necessary to meet therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate effectively with various healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning from inpatient hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care through effective communication with healthcare providers.

• Identify and proactively address behaviors that may hinder recovery and provide guidance to clients and their families in overcoming these challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE), or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, primarily in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• An understanding of best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications.
