Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, utilizing techniques such as guided meditation, mindfulness exercise, and self-reflection to assist clients in managing stress and improving their mental health.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify individual clients’ stressors, present challenges, and personal goals, adjusting mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, emphasizing stress management, emotional resilience, and personal empowerment.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individualized therapeutic sessions, addressing specific mental health conditions and providing ongoing support for client progress.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness practices within clients' comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, interventions utilized, and treatment adjustments in line with best practices for telehealth documentation.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and regular personal mindfulness practices to enhance skills and deepen expertise in MBSR as well as other relevant modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work directly with a diverse population seeking support for various mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Your role will not only be instrumental in reducing immediate distress but also in equipping clients with lifelong skills for managing their mental health effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health theory and practice, with the proficiency to integrate mindfulness-based approaches into your work.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in creating a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients via telehealth.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodologies is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to engage clients in meaningful discussions about mindfulness and its benefits for mental health.

• Experience working in telehealth services or similar remote therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
