This full-time remote position is primarily focused on delivering telehealth services, allowing you to provide critical therapeutic support to children and adolescents navigating mental health challenges from the safety and comfort of home. With a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, we are looking for an individual who is not only qualified but also deeply committed to improving the mental well-being of younger populations.

Work Environment\n

This role is designed to enable you to work remotely, predominantly using telehealth platforms, thereby eliminating geographical barriers and empowering you to reach families in need. Our practice operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Our technology-driven service model not only enhances flexibility but also ensures high-quality care delivery through secure video conferencing, electronic health records, and a robust communication system among the care team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to developmental stages and include family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a spectrum of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in supporting their children's mental health and developing nurturing environments.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies or acute mental health challenges faced by patients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community-based resources to foster support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EHR systems effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to promote collaborative treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes the importance of supporting children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar credential in New York state.

• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health practices, demonstrated through both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a particular focus on building rapport with children and families.

Preferred Experience\n
