Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health conditions effectively.

• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, integrating client feedback to optimize engagement and success.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions applying evidence-based practices that promote behavior change and support clients’ recovery goals.

• Collaborate with other treatment team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure an integrated care model that meets the clients’ comprehensive needs.

• Engage actively with clients’ families, educating them about addiction and involving them in the recovery process to build a support network around the client.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to case discussions and strategy sessions, furthering a unified approach to client wellness.

Your work will primarily focus on adults dealing with substance abuse challenges, many of whom may also be facing co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Active and valid licensure as either LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, particularly the ability to motivate clients in recovery.

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

• Familiarity with various evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling, particularly in settings focused on addiction treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , dependent on experience and credentials.
