Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, taking detailed medical histories and performing targeted assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans to patients and their families, incorporating their input to set achievable goals for recovery.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting strategies to align with each patient's unique presentation and ongoing progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and modify treatment plans based on observed changes in condition.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely, which includes maintaining precise treatment notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Manage daily schedules efficiently, ensuring productivity goals are met while maintaining a focus on quality patient care.
• Engage in departmental initiatives and activities aimed at enhancing service delivery and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Participate in community outreach programs and marketing efforts to promote rehabilitation services available at our facility.
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced colleagues or interns, providing guidance and sharing insights gained through professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that impact mobility and physical function. Our patient demographic encompasses individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, each requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to facilitate their journey towards recovery and empower them to regain independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, candidates with less experience will be considered if they demonstrate strong foundational skills and a commitment to professional growth. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings will be advantageous but is not required.

Compensation and Benefits
