Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients mental health concerns to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment planning.
\n Deliver individual therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant methodologies tailored to clients needs.
\n Foster strong therapeutic alliances by collaborating with clients to set achievable goals and continuously monitor their progress throughout therapy.
\n Utilize teletherapy platforms to offer accessible services to clients, including those who may face geographical or logistical barriers to in-person sessions.
\n Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards to promote client safety and continuity of care.
\n Engage in regular professional development activities, including attending workshops, webinars, and peer consultations, to stay informed of best practices in mental health care.
\n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Mental Health Counselor at Goodwin Mental Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele of adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients seek tailored support that resonates with their unique experiences, and you will play a crucial role in guiding them toward healing and recovery.
Qualifications\n \n A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
\n A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that promote a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
\n Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and challenges.
\n Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload while balancing administrative responsibilities.
\n Preferred Experience\n \n Previous experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly in teletherapy or virtual service delivery.
\n Utilization of evidence-based treatments and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
\n Experience in working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency in mental health.
\n Compensation and Benefits\n \n Attractive salary range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, ensuring recognition of your skills and dedication.
