Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Tri-County Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, analyzing their physical conditions to devise effective treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring alignment with physician directives.
• Employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' physical functions, from manual therapy to therapeutic exercise.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care both in the clinic and, where appropriate, in patients' homes to ensure comprehensive support.
• Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, empowering them with knowledge and skills for self-management.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies and achieve higher recovery rates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve treating patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring a wide range of interactions with diverse populations including children, athletes in sports medicine, and individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to convey complex information effectively to patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to facilitate documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience
