Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate each client’s trauma history and develop suitable treatment plans.

• Design individualized treatment strategies that focus on resilience-building and recovery, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, promoting healthy coping strategies and emotional healing through modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions to safeguard clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Guide clients and their families in understanding trauma responses and enhance their awareness of available resources and coping mechanisms.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring client information remains secure.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele consists of trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Clients may come from varied backgrounds, including different socio-economic statuses, ethnicities, and age groups, contributing to a rich tapestry of experiences that inform your practice. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating a solid background in providing mental health counseling.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, capable of implementing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards client interactions and treatment.

• The ability to function calmly and effectively in high-stress situations, prioritizing client care and safety.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications essential for modern practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
