Work Environment

We also offer the flexibility to adjust your hours if you prefer a part-time commitment of at least 5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions primarily through video chat, ensuring each session is conducted ethically and compassionately.
• Continually assessing the therapeutic needs of clients and adjusting treatment approaches accordingly.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Collaborating closely with clients to cultivate essential coping mechanisms, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication skills that will empower them on their recovery paths.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on helping stable adults who are experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. You will be providing critical support to clients seeking to improve their mental health, working collaboratively with them to identify their goals and address their specific challenges, thereby enabling them to achieve a higher quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation that allows for independent practice.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor with no history of disciplinary action from relevant licensing boards.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a sympathetic and supportive nature, ensuring a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth technology and record-keeping systems.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted client sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience in providing clinical mental health services via telehealth platforms will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with documenting treatment notes and utilizing electronic health record systems will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

• A salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, based on your hours worked.
