As a Physical Therapist at Wellness Wise, you will be conducting assessments and therapy sessions in various home environments, which allows for tailored rehabilitation plans that consider each client's unique circumstances and home dynamics. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and administer physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, improving muscle function, and enhancing overall performance, based on individualized plans of care.
• Evaluate clients' physical capabilities through comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic tests for muscles, nerves, and joints, to inform treatment strategies.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring they effectively implement prescribed therapy plans and deliver quality care.
• Customize rehabilitation strategies that consider the home environment, providing recommendations to enhance clients' independence.
• Execute therapeutic exercises and provide guidance and motivation to clients during both manual and non-manual therapy sessions.
• Administer modalities such as traction, massage, and other physical agents as part of the therapeutic regimen.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary, ensuring clients have the right support systems in place.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and collaborate on comprehensive care plans.
• Accurately document client evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Instruct clients and their families on the effective use of therapeutic devices and establish a clear understanding of the full scope of their therapy programs.
• Complete all required documentation timely to support clinical operations, including care plans and performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with adult and geriatric patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid and current Physical Therapy licensure in good standing in Florida.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or home care setting, or as required by applicable law.
• Current CPR certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance to navigate client visits efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health or community-based settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
