Work Environment

This position will primarily involve onsite patient interactions in their homes. Operating within a home care setting allows you to directly observe and influence the recovery process in a familiar environment for your patients. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including therapy administration, patient education, and collaboration with caregivers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while committing to a standard 40-hour workweek complete with competitive compensation ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, crafting tailored treatment programs based on individual needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques and procedures aimed at improving functional outcomes, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Utilize various therapy modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular reeducation, to facilitate recovery.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on post-therapy exercises and daily strategies to maintain functional independence.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to share patient insights and develop comprehensive care strategies that address specific patient needs.
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives aimed at promoting overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Valley Care Solution, you will work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with patients and families.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills essential for documentation and patient management.
• A compassionate approach to care, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the individual needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting preferred.
• Experience working in home health care or community settings is a plus.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification, with familiarity in the latest CPR practices.
