Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and design individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, ensuring adherence to the prescribed plan of care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, utilizing a variety of modalities and therapeutic exercises aimed at improving functionality and quality of life.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for effective home care.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service in every interaction and contribute positively to the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with a broader healthcare team to enhance patient care strategies and ensure continuity of care across settings.
• Utilize technology effectively in managing patient information and treatment schedules.
• Achieve and maintain production and utilization goals, contributing to team efficiency and clinic success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, addressing needs across various settings including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Your expertise will be vital in providing specialized care that aligns with the specific challenges presented by each patient, thus fostering an environment of trust and support.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, and CPR certification.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Adept in word processing and comfortable using electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients, aiding them in exceeding their functional rehabilitation goals.
• A positive attitude and a strong desire to build community connections and engage with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Specialized training or experience in pediatric, orthopedic, and neurologic therapy is highly advantageous.
• Experience utilizing outcome measures and patient assessment tools relevant to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
