Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Sanford offers an inviting and supportive environment where physical therapists collaborate closely with diverse healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical condition, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice to ensure optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring each patient receives holistic care tailored to their needs.
• Maintain detailed patient documentation that reflects progress towards functional goals and adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers with the knowledge necessary to manage their conditions and prevent future injuries.
• Work towards meeting departmental utilization goals while contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of the facility.

As a Physical Therapist at Texoma Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals in orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect meaningfully with patients and their families.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills to manage patient documentation and communication effectively.
• Commitment to establishing strong relationships with patients and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve best outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Current Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• CPR Certification must be current and may be obtained post-hire if not already held.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
