This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting through a telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with clients in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of youth clients, forming professional relationships built on trust and respect, while adhering to ethical standards and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, and determine appropriate next steps, including discharge planning when necessary.

• Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and continually refine personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals.

• Complete thorough documentation and progress notes for every session, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, and facilitating seamless transitions of care.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs and establish rapport effectively.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's context.

• Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development, sharing insights and experiences to foster personal and clinical growth.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating care with other healthcare providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Counselors will work to create a safe and supportive environment where young clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.

• Ability to meet all internal credentialing requirements in various mental health settings.

• Minimum of one year of direct experience working with youth or adolescent psychiatric patients and/or addressing substance abuse issues.

• Proven ability to assess mental health conditions accurately and deliver individual and group therapy effectively.

• Competent in using digital platforms for teletherapy, with basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
