Key Responsibilities\n

• Clinical Development: Design, implement, and assess innovative treatment programs tailored to the needs of clients with acute or chronic mental illnesses. Actively engage in staff conferences to discuss treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments.

• Outpatient Therapy: Provide effective outpatient psychotherapy services, facilitating individual, couples, family, and group sessions that cater to diverse emotional and psychological needs.
\n
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
\n
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and allied health professionals to evaluate patients for psychotropic medications and coordinate comprehensive care plans.

• Supervision and Mentorship: May supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors who are seeking guidance to enhance their skills.

• Family Support: Provide education and support to clients' family members to encourage engagement with treatment plans, ensuring seamless support for clients in their mental health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving adult and child family members seeking psychiatric evaluation and treatment services. You will cater to a broad range of mental health issues, employing diverse therapeutic techniques designed to optimize individual and family well-being. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will play a crucial role in their recovery and ongoing mental health management.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Licensing: Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n
