Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist for Enhanced Patient Mobility

Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming the lives of our patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey to regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.

We operate in a modern, state-of-the-art facility that spans 5,000 square feet, featuring advanced equipment and treatment areas dedicated to fostering recovery and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The position is onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in our home care setting. You will collaborate with a tight-knit team of two experienced Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our supportive work culture enhances patient care and encourages professional growth. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent and cohesive routine that balances professional commitments with personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions, establishing individualized treatment goals and objectives based on their unique needs.
• Manage a focused caseload of one patient per hour, delivering individualized attention and care during each session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a range of modalities, including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Provide education and encouragement to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them recognize their progress and maintain their commitment to health.
• Document patient care meticulously, including treatment plans, progress reports, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any interdisciplinary needs.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to maximize patient benefits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including those requiring rehabilitation after surgery, injuries, or chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals covered by private medical insurance, supporting them in overcoming physical challenges to achieve improved movement and overall health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice Physical Therapy, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional integrity and excellence.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Advanced knowledge and skill in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience with using WebPT EMR Software for documenting patient care, emphasizing familiarity with electronic records management.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing your ability to effectively manage patient rehabilitation.
• A track record of developing personalized fitness and wellness programs to support diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
