Senior Sales Development Representative (f/m/d)

Senior Sales Development Representative | Full Time | New-York, USA Eager to build your career in B2B sales? Join Meteomatics, a leading provider of high-resolution weather and climate data! We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative. As an SDR, your primary responsibility is to serve as the first point of contact for potential customers. You will support our sales teams with focused strategies to drive top‑of‑the‑funnel activities and bring new business opportunities. This role requires a high level of motivation, a knack for thriving in a fast‑paced environment, and a solution‑oriented mindset. Your responsibilities Manage the early sales cycle within a defined industry and regional territory: Lead generation & prospecting. Qualify leads by cold calling and nurture inbound leads. Determine if a prospect’s needs and budget align with Meteomatics’s products, ensuring they are a good fit for the sales pipeline. Schedule discovery calls between qualified prospects and Account Executives. Create a prospecting strategy to generate new business opportunities in collaboration with Sales counterparts: Use platforms such as HubSpot, Gong, LinkedIn, and Zoominfo to enhance data intelligence and engage with high‑value prospects. Accurately record and update data in our CRM system. Build trusting relationships with potential customers: Represent the company at exhibitions and events; build long‑term, trusting relationships to qualify leads as sales opportunities. Bring energy and innovation, adding to the culture of our growing SDR team. Continuously develop your knowledge and competencies. Your Qualifications 5+ years of experience as an SDR in a SaaS company. Comfortable using AI tools to optimize daily work. Highly communicative and love to talk to people; agile mind and can adapt quickly to new challenges. Proactive, self‑motivated, and resilient; eager to learn and grow in tech sales. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Nice‑to‑have: interest or educational background in weather‑related fields.
