Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments through preliminary interviews, documenting client histories and treatment progress comprehensively.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to determine the most effective treatment modalities.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse populations including individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Monitor and document client progress against treatment goals, making adjustments as needed in consultation with clients and healthcare teams.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers on intervention and care plans to optimize client outcomes.

• Provide continuous follow-up with clients transitioning from hospital care to outpatient treatment, ensuring continuity of care and support.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that disrupt the recovery process, providing clients and caregivers with tools to manage these challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor in clinical settings.

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $80,000 to $100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus!
