Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and gather comprehensive clinical information to evaluate client mental health and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Diverse Counseling Center, you will work with a varied client population. This includes individuals battling issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your ability to connect with diverse individuals will be essential in fostering trust and promoting effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy with cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
