Work Environment

This position is set in a home care setting, emphasizing personalized therapy delivered directly in patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs thoroughly and develop tailored care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, providing dedicated and focused therapy sessions.
• Utilize strong manual therapy skills to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient comfort.
• Employ evidence-based practices to design and implement fitness and wellness programs that meet patients' specific rehabilitation goals.
• Promote non-surgical solutions by offering cost-effective treatment options aimed at improving mobility.
• Regularly evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Document all services provided, maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and utilizing EMR software such as WebPT efficiently.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by instilling strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in your patients.
• Engage with patients proactively to motivate them through their rehabilitation journeys.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on outpatient orthopedic cases, comprising a diverse range of patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, your role will entail building rapport with patients, understanding their personal goals, and ensuring each treatment plan incorporates their individual needs. Your knowledge and experience will guide individuals toward improved physical function and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy license issued in the state of California.
• Clean licensure with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Competence in developing and monitoring exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, and the ability to use these systems effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to develop personal treatment and exercise plans focusing on non-invasive care and rehabilitation.
• Prior involvement in collaborative healthcare environments with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
