Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct sessions from the comfort of your home or any location of your choice, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both you and your clients. You will primarily engage in remote outpatient therapy, which allows for flexible scheduling—choose to work hours that best fit your lifestyle, generally Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health statuses and specific needs.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, tailored to clients’ individual goals and therapeutic needs.

• Providing individual therapy sessions to adult clients, contextualizing evidence-based approaches to treatment.

• Utilizing teletherapy platforms to deliver impactful virtual sessions and manage client progress effectively.

• Administering crisis intervention services as necessary, demonstrating empathy and competence during acute situations.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development by participating in training and workshops to stay current with mental health best practices and evolving industry standards.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective client interaction and building rapport.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time efficiently in a remote work setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in providing teletherapy, as well as those proficient in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be highly regarded. Experience working with diverse populations or in specialized areas such as trauma, addiction, or family dynamics is also beneficial.
