You will be working predominantly during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at supporting client mental health:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders on clients' lives.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.

• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated treatment solutions.

• Engaging in continuous professional development by staying updated on recent research and advancements in mood disorder treatments.

• Maintaining confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in interdisciplinary case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative efforts and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals navigating mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele represents a range of backgrounds and experiences, and you will play a crucial role in supporting their mental health recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, for managing mood disorders.
\n
• A strong working knowledge of psychopharmacology and its applications in therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect effectively with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience in community mental health settings or specialization in trauma-informed care will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience working remotely is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
