This role is designed for a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor who can work remotely, allowing for flexibility and convenience in providing therapeutic services to clients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients and developing trusting, therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining clear boundaries.

• Conducting intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, and collaboratively develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are person-centered.

• Meeting with clients regularly to assess their progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate; documenting these sessions in detailed progress notes.

• Providing individual therapy sessions, with a focus on addressing mental health challenges and fostering coping strategies.

• Engaging in individual supervision and team meetings to ensure high-quality clinical support and continuous professional development.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, enhancing their overall treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on youth clients, which requires a nuanced understanding of developmental psychology and effective communication strategies for engaging younger populations. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within respective clinical settings, as required by the clinic.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance-abusing populations, demonstrating competency in therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
