This position offers the flexibility of working entirely from a remote setting while utilizing our outpatient office resources. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial mental health evaluations and maintain detailed documentation of each case from intake through treatment completion.

• Create evidence-based treatment plans that are responsive to clients' evolving mental, behavioral, and emotional health needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using established therapeutic modalities, ensuring each client feels heard and supported.

• Collaborate actively with other mental health professionals, physicians, and support staff to coordinate effective intervention strategies, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to care.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Support caregivers and family members by providing educational resources and strategies for managing mental health challenges at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a variety of clients, including individuals facing mental health crises, couples seeking relationship counseling, and families needing support in navigating dynamic emotional landscapes. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and many present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals find pathways to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A successful track record of passing the NCE or the NCMHCE examination.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and track patient information efficiently.

• In-depth understanding of the co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with the ability to address their complexities in treatment planning.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with a compassionate and patient-centered demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating an ability to navigate challenging clinical situations.

• Knowledge of best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Expertise in evaluating the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed by other healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
