Men's Talk Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team in Fort Worth, Texas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the needs and goals of each patient, ensuring personalized care plans are in place.
• Engage in open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, client families, and other stakeholders to discuss client progress and necessary interventions.
• Develop and share a tentative schedule with supervisors for appointments, home visits, and observations aimed at monitoring client progress effectively.
• Coordinate and execute home visits as appropriate, conducting in-home observations and interviews while ensuring adherence to program protocols.
• Ensure that the program plan is not only implemented but also adapted based on the ongoing feedback and progress of the clients.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights to develop cohesive treatment plans.
• Document progress notes on a monthly and quarterly basis to track client advancement and support clinical decisions.
• Organize training sessions to equip team members with the necessary skills for effective implementation of treatment plans and documentation standards.
• Provide follow-up support through interviews and home visits to assess and respond to clients' evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and accessible records to facilitate collaboration and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a liaison with public and community mental health stakeholders to enhance service delivery and client engagement.
• Assist in the creation and refinement of training materials that advance program effectiveness for diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a varied patient demographic, including adults and children, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The role will focus on delivering culturally competent, empathetic, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software and virtual platforms for client management and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and understand the legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is crucial.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse interventions, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic modalities.
