Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clients' unique needs.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solutions-focused short therapy, tailored to client scenarios.
• Facilitating both group and individual therapy sessions, helping clients explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and improve their mental health.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards and fostering a culture of transparency.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and learning opportunities to stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with diverse populations, including families and individuals who often face barriers to accessing mental health services. The clientele may represent various backgrounds and experiences, including those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use issues. Your role is vital in providing them with the resources and support necessary to inspire positive change in their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in clinical settings.
• A strong grounding in legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies to manage client documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
