Work Environment

As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work completely from home, utilizing a state-of-the-art therapy platform that enables live sessions (video/text) and secure messaging with your clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients through video chat, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance their mental well-being.
• Encourage clients to express their emotions and experiences, fostering self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, supporting them in setting and achieving personal goals.
• Assess clients’ mental health needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical expertise, and monitor progress regularly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes within our counseling platform.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a clientele that has been thoroughly screened and is comprised of stable adults facing manageable emotional challenges. Our clients exhibit low acuity levels, allowing you to focus on effective, solution-driven therapy without the complexity of severe mental illnesses. You have the freedom to select the demographics of clients you feel best equipped to serve, ensuring mutually beneficial therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to practice independently, without supervision. Note: We do not accept provisional or limited licenses.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations and recommendations for treatment based on sound clinical judgment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, showing empathy and compassion in all client interactions.
• Proficient in computer use, with familiarity in telehealth platforms and online counseling tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and able to tailor interventions to meet client needs.
• Strong understanding of the ethical considerations and practices in teletherapy.
