Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining responsibilities for client care. However, our outpatient office in Waukegan, Illinois, also serves as a hub for in-person meetings and collaborative care discussions. Our administrative staff is dedicated to streamlining business processes including credentialing services, intake scheduling, and billing, which allows our clinicians to focus primarily on providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of young clients, working to establish rapport and practice professional ethics in all interactions.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge, as appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they are centered around the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Document therapy sessions meticulously, including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to regulatory requirements.
\n
• Administer initial intake assessments to effectively understand and diagnose client needs.
\n
• Engage in ongoing individual supervision to foster personal growth and professional development.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Foster a growth mindset within your practice, staying abreast of the latest therapeutic methodologies that benefit our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on youth experiencing anxiety, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our approach is deeply rooted in providing targeted support to address not only the symptoms but also the underlying issues that impact the mental well-being of children and adolescents. Clinicians work in a collaborative context that includes families and guardians to further enhance treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Strong capability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working with youth in a mental health capacity, preferably with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
