Work Environment

The work setting will take place in a hospital facility, providing a collaborative and resource-rich environment conducive to patient care. The schedule typically runs from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. and participation in community events during weekends will be expected. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will work a standard 40-hour week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and preventive screenings for patients across all age groups.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, tailoring care plans to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Lead and participate in health education programs aimed at increasing community awareness regarding health issues and self-management strategies.
• Deliver culturally appropriate care while advocating for patients’ rights and access to essential healthcare services.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care by following up with patients regarding their healthcare journeys.
• Document encounters meticulously in electronic medical records to meet regulatory compliance and facilitate care coordination.
• Engage in community outreach and health fairs to provide screenings and educational resources, enhancing overall health literacy.
• Stay informed on community health trends, new evidence-based practices, and changes in health policy to adapt care as needed.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with an active state nursing license.

Compensation and Benefits

Blissful Nurse Specialists offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
