Work Environment

The clinic operates in a collaborative, supportive atmosphere where patient health and wellness are our top priorities. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a great work-life balance. As an onsite role, you will engage directly with patients in our outpatient office, utilizing the latest rehabilitation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the specific goals and needs of patients, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 individuals per hour, providing personalized interventions and strategies.
• Deliver cost-effective physical therapy treatments aimed at improving patient mobility and movement.
• Develop comprehensive care plans employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs that are customized for each patient's unique requirements.
• Monitor patient progress through careful evaluation, documentation, and communication of outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• Promote health and wellness by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient care services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diverse population ranges from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to older adults looking to maintain mobility and independence. Your role is essential in helping them regain their physical abilities and improve their overall health.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary actions.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the capability to obtain one before employment starts.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
