Work Environment

This full-time position requires your presence onsite at our outpatient office, where you will be working alongside a team of experienced professionals. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility needed to meet the individual needs of our patients and to ensure the smooth operation of clinic activities. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, enabling you to use the latest technology and best practices in your treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound to promote healing and pain relief.
• Educate patients and their families about proper body mechanics, exercise regimens, and home therapy programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, assessing improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional ability.
• Prepare treatment spaces, including organizing equipment and supplies, to ensure a safe and efficient rehabilitation environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to ensure integrated patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivation, encouraging patient engagement in their rehabilitation process.
• Adhere to professional ethics and patient confidentiality standards while fostering a positive, respectful atmosphere in the clinic.

The patients you'll serve at Vita Flex Therapeutics encompass a varied demographic, ranging from children needing pediatric rehabilitation services to older adults undergoing geriatric rehabilitation. You will encounter patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and other health challenges that impact their mobility and quality of life. This diversity allows you to expand your skill set and adapt treatment strategies to meet individual needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required prior to starting the role.
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience is preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to employ a variety of treatment modalities and adapt interventions based on patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings is advantageous.
• Specialized training or certification in specific rehabilitation techniques (e.g., dry needling, manual therapy) is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits
