Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through detailed assessments to identify their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to, manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Provide clear instruction and support to patients in performing exercises and activities necessary for their rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and techniques to facilitate adherence to therapy protocols.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on the patient's response to therapy and changing needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies, focusing on multi-disciplinary approaches to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and those living with chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to helping them restore functionality, improve mobility, and regain their strength. The role emphasizes individualized care strategies that consider each patient's unique medical history and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active State Physical Therapy license is essential to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Build Up Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
