Position Overview

Good Movement Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. This full-time role is focused on delivering high-quality care to patients dealing with orthopedic conditions and functional limitations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, examining their functional limitations and creating individualized treatment plans to address specific needs.
• Engage in consultations with healthcare providers and other specialists to ensure a cohesive continuum of care for each patient.
• Maintain adherence to our customer service standards by interacting respectfully and thoughtfully with patients across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement treatment interventions, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and findings.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment updates thoroughly in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards, ensuring all records are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary treatment team, including referral sources and physicians, to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions related to orthopedic health. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey. Your ability to empathize and engage with these patients will be crucial in fostering their recovery and ensuring they feel valued at our facility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly working with orthopedic patients.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar clinical environment.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
