This full-time position involves working closely with patients in their home setting, helping them to overcome mobility challenges and achieve their highest levels of performance. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a home care setting, enabling our physical therapists to provide personalized care in the comfort of patients' homes. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively contributing to the health and well-being of your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs that enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Utilize cost-effective therapeutic interventions to improve clients' range of motion while minimizing reliance on medications and advocating for non-surgical options.
• Maintain an individual patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Design and propose customized fitness and wellness plans to support patients' unique therapeutic goals.
• Motivate and engage patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a partnership that encourages accountability and progress.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust interventions as necessary based on empirical data and patient feedback.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. With a focus on enhancing mobility and improving functional capabilities, you will work with patients from various age groups and backgrounds, using tailored approaches that consider their unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating success in optimizing patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in home care settings is a significant advantage.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families about treatment goals and progress.

Compensation and Benefits
