Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment toward preventing disability, relieving pain, improving muscle function, and maintaining maximum performance within the patient's capabilities as outlined in their individualized care plan.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of the treatment plan and continuity of care.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' functional abilities through various diagnostic tests and assessments to guide treatment decisions.
• Assess patients' home environments to identify barriers to rehabilitation and provide actionable recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions including manual exercises, traction, and physical agents as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, recording any changes in condition and adapting the plan of care accordingly.
• Prepare thorough clinical records including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for each patient.
• Engage in collaborative case conferences with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate and plan comprehensive treatments for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about their therapy programs, including the proper use of any prescribed devices.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and payroll documentation in alignment with clinic policies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and education.
