This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create tailored treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including but not limited to exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Regularly document treatment progress and patient responses, ensuring accurate records are maintained in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Adapt and modify treatment objectives based on continuous assessments, setting new therapeutic goals as patients progress in their rehabilitation.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families regarding the use of assistive devices and best practices in physical therapy.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy by attending professional workshops and engaging with ongoing education opportunities, enhancing your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, enabling you to provide treatment in the state of Virginia.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with proficient computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to work flexibly within varying patient schedules and adapt to the individual needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Experience with outpatient rehabilitation or a similar environment is highly advantageous.
