As a Telehealth Specialist, you will engage with clients via secure video calls, ensuring that therapy sessions can seamlessly integrate into their daily lives. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, accurately documenting client information from the first consultation to the completion of treatment plans.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform tailored intervention strategies.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on unique client needs.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various counseling techniques to foster a safe and supportive environment.
\n
• Continuously monitor and assess client progress against established treatment goals, leading to necessary adjustments in care plans.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Coordinate follow-up care for clients with medical professionals during hospital admissions to maintain continuity of care.

• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors or circumstances that could impede client recovery.

• Provide guidance and support to families and primary caregivers to effectively manage the mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse client base experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven prior experience working as a mental health counselor with a solid understanding of therapeutic principles.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, is beneficial.
\n
• Appreciation for the complexities of physical and emotional health conditions, as well as substance use disorders.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
