Physical TherapistIn Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead is looking for a Physical Therapist for its Palace at Home 10850 SW 113th Place Miami, FL 33176.The #1 priority of this position is to provide physical therapy as prescribed by a physician, which can be safely provided in the facility and assisting the physician in evaluating patients by applying diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional abilities test.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy services as prescribed by a physician.Observe and record activities and findings in the clinical record and report the resident's reaction to the treatment and any changes in the patient's condition.Provide instructions to the resident, family members and other health team personnel in care and use of physical therapy devices.Determine proper procedures and methods and evaluate results.Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for the assigned area of the department/facility.Practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.QualificationsGraduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.Must possess active State of Florida Physical Therapy license.Have supervision and management skills.Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred.Basic math skills required.Able to operate the necessary equipment.The Ideal CandidateResponsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.Flexible as to work schedule.
