Licensed Telehealth Counselor - Remote Full-Time Position

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with program participants to minimize reliance on crisis services through continuous support and intervention.
• Maintain up-to-date crisis alerts in coordination with county crisis services to ensure timely access to appropriate interventions.
• Coordinate transitions for clients from hospital to outpatient services or program transfers when necessary, including detailed collaboration with hospital staff to facilitate smooth discharges.
• Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation skills in various circumstances, providing milieu support as the designated Clinician of the Day.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately to maintain high standards of care and comply with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on helping clients who are experiencing mental health crises, including individuals with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of need. You will be interacting with clients who may require urgent intervention as well as those seeking long-term therapeutic relationships. Your contributions will directly impact their well-being and stability, ultimately fostering a healthier community.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Strong clinical skills and a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in crisis management techniques and a strong ability to triage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience addressing issues related to mental health stabilization and community integration.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate clients and maintain enthusiasm in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually , commensurate with your experience and caseload. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
