Licensed Physical Therapist in Outpatient Care - Full-Time

Work Environment

Our onsite outpatient facility provides a vibrant and supportive work setting that thrives on teamwork and collaboration. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, engaging with skilled colleagues and utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to enhance treatment outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify needs, develop targeted treatment plans, and monitor progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on evidence-based practices, adapting to patient needs and responses to therapy.
• Consult regularly with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, addressing any changes in a patient's condition and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Facilitate effective discharge planning and follow-up care to enhance continuity of treatment post-discharge.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and clinical decisions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage actively with facility initiatives aimed at improving patient access and overall service delivery.
• Stay informed of best practices and complete all required corporate and clinical training to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in facility meetings and trainings to share insights and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist role is focused on providing care to patients with a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports injuries. This position allows for the development of relationships with patients as you guide them through their recovery journeys, offering both physical care and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based approaches to treatment, including specialized techniques in manual therapy or neuromuscular rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.
• Demonstrated abilities in building therapeutic relationships with patients through empathy and effective communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
