Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to engage with students and families from the comfort of your own environment while maintaining a strong connection with our school and community partners in San Antonio, Texas. Although the work is primarily conducted virtually, you will have the opportunity to work closely with school staff and attend meetings as necessary to coordinate interventions effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students to identify their needs, strengths, and areas requiring intervention.

• Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with students, their families, and educational staff to outline goals and the interventions necessary to achieve them.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues, teaching coping strategies and problem-solving skills.

• Coordinate with teachers, counselors, and other school personnel to create an integrative approach to supporting students.

• Advocate for students' access to community resources and social services, ensuring their rights and needs are prioritized.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of case notes and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and conferences relevant to social work and student mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing mental health support primarily to school-aged children and adolescents. You will engage with a diverse range of students, including those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, social difficulties, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
