Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows you to work remotely, utilizing telehealth tools to connect with patients. Our telehealth facility is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate secure and efficient therapy sessions. You will have flexible working hours, primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments that take into account the patient's cultural and personal experiences, crafting tailored treatment plans for effective intervention.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions while adapting them to meet the individual needs and backgrounds of each patient, focusing on building a strong therapeutic alliance.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that promote resilience and address diverse mental health concerns, using culturally responsive methods.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care and to optimize patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies to manage mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their care journey.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings to collaboratively discuss cases and improve service delivery.

• Engage in training sessions focused on cultural competency, staying updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, employing inclusive methodologies that resonate with diverse client backgrounds.

• Exemplary crisis intervention skills, with the ability to navigate challenging scenarios calmly and effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is preferred.

• A steadfast commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality in all aspects of practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
