Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries, establishing effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement treatment plans utilizing diverse methods such as exercise, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Monitor and document patient treatments, responses, and progress meticulously to ensure an evidence-based approach to therapy.
• Adjust and update therapeutic goals and treatment plans as required, based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families on the use of assistive devices and therapeutic exercises to facilitate self-care and enhance mobility.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking with other healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals, each presenting unique challenges and treatment requirements. Your role will involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and other physical challenges that impede their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid DPT license in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using basic computer software and documentation systems relevant to physical therapy practice.
• A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in managing patient schedules and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
