Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the developmental needs of children and guide treatment options.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring a tailored approach to each child’s needs.

• Monitor and evaluate progress as part of an interdisciplinary team, using data-driven strategies to adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Provide essential support to families, helping them understand and navigate the complexities of early intervention resources and services.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations concerning child welfare and mental health services in the provision of your duties.

• Build strong relationships with children, their families, and team members to create a trust-based and nurturing atmosphere conducive to effective learning and growth.

• Utilize various tools and strategies to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring that both children and families benefit from customized interventions and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. By targeting improvements in physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills, our LCSWs cater to the most vulnerable segment of our population, allowing them to reach developmental milestones. Your role will involve working directly with these young families, providing them with the information, support, and guidance they need during a critical stage of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.

• A valid driver’s license is needed for the occasional necessity of home visits.

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience working with children in early intervention programs is essential.

• A demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While the base requirement is two years, experience with early childhood intervention strategies, family counseling, and knowledge of state and federal resource systems will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n
