Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Mood Dynamics, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that delve into clients' trauma history to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Organize and lead individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and resources are available.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, fostering an understanding of the healing process.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training activities that focus on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Strong knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care, specifically related to trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and understanding approach with clients.
\n
• The ability to remain calm and effective during high-stress situations, providing essential support to those in crisis.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with prior experience delivering trauma-focused therapies will be preferred. Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
