Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions through a user-friendly telehealth platform. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a Monday to Friday workweek from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the developmental stages and the unique familial dynamics of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to develop a comprehensive treatment approach that fosters overall well-being for our young patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support during mental health emergencies, helping families navigate urgent situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health factors, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on the mental health needs of children and adolescents, ranging from early childhood to late teenage years. The role requires a deep understanding of the developmental trajectories of youth and the specific challenges they face in today’s society. You will work closely with families to ensure a supportive and understanding environment for treatment, making a significant impact on their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A thorough understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and family therapy to young clients.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential, along with basic computer proficiency.

• A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience working in child and adolescent mental health care.

• Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
