Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health services to patients with varying mental health conditions, primarily those relating to substance use and underlying mental health issues.
• Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ mental health status, focusing on their emotional, social, and behavioral functioning to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, applying therapeutic techniques and making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Deliver education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources within the community.
• Maintain strict adherence to all ethical standards and legal requirements regarding patient confidentiality and informed consent.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to document care and track patient progress efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your ability to connect with patients during their sensitive recovery phases is critical in fostering trust and encouraging engagement in their treatment plans.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient relationships and collaboration with a variety of healthcare professionals.
• Proficient clinical skills, including the ability to assess mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic health record systems for maintaining accurate patient information.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health conditions and the complexities involved in treating individuals with such conditions.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting.
• Training in trauma-informed care practices and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Familiarity with community resources in the Mesa area to facilitate patient support.

Compensation and Benefits
